专利摘要:
A method and an apparatus for treating a part of the body of a patient with radioactive material, in which at least one hollow needle is introduced into the part of the body concerned, said needle being capable of subsequently receiving a tube containing selectively positioned radioactive material, previously arranged therein. Use is made of a cart comprising at least one tube containing selectively positioned radioactive material, an intermediate container for shielding the tube or tubes, and means for transporting the said tube with radioactive material into and out of the shielding means. According to the present invention, each implant needle is connected to the cart by means of a patient transfer tube with a patient connector and a machine connector connected with a plurality of external tubes, from which cart tubes are selectively inserted into the needle or needles already introduced by means of one or more transport threads movable in the patient transfer tubes.

Each channel contains a radioactive material tube; Storage tank 18 is fitted with Jurassic 20, to which is attached a coupling sleeve 21, corresponding to a patient's coupling sleeve 11. The holes in the tank coupling 21 connect the upper part of a plurality of tubes 22, the free ends of which are provided with coupling sleeves 23 of the selection tubes, designed for interaction with coupling couplings 19,
Mechanism 7 of the parade (Fig.F-5) contains a disk 24, on the periphery of which teeth 25 are made, which are designed to interoperate with a screw 26 driven by a motor 21. The disk 24 is provided with a spiral groove 28 for accommodating the transport cable 29, The disk 24, the worm to 26 and the engine 27 are placed in the housing 30. The housing 30 has an outlet opening 3 1 for the transport cable 29,
To ensure proper output (dew 29 from the spiral groove 28 through the hole 31 in the top plate 32 for the disk 24, a radial groove 33 is provided in which the support 34 can move (Fig. 5).
Bearing 34 is provided with a guide channel 35 for the transport cable. The support (figure 5) is provided in the lower part with a protrusion or a sponge 36 extending into a disk groove 28 ensuring proper fit with the aid of an era.
The ogo is equipped with an upper part with a groove 37, in which the spike is installed, and the guide bar 38, one end of the spine, is installed with the possibility of disgrace H; I axis, while the accessing exit hole 31 is fixed on the top plate 32, In addition , the guide lever 38. supply-i in the lower part of the groove 39, one end of which is connected to the guide channel 35 and the support 34. with the other, to the opening 31 in the housing.
The output from ver. 31 (Fig. 3) is connected to the tube 40 through the curved part through the intermediate container 5. The other end of the tube 40 is connected through a sleeve 41 to the transfer: w, patient tube 14. Several such transfer tubes 14 the patient is placed sch in the outer tube 9.
The coupling 41 (FIG. 3) is connected to the tube 42, which is connected to the high-pressure vessel 43 by valve 44, the tube 42 behind the valve 44 is connected to the pressure sensors 45,
The open end of the needle 16 for the introduction of radioactive materials (Fig. 6) is equipped with a needle f / f 15 with a hole 46 in the middle of the shoulder 7. In addition to the hole 46, it is also connected to the outlet 48.
The free end of the transport cable 29 (FIG. 7) is provided with a gripper or similar clamping element 49 having gripping levers 50. The latter are designed to interact with the head 51 connected by means of a rod 52, a crimping element 53, a flexible rod 54 and a crimping element 55 with a tube
56, in which a block of radioactive sources 57 is placed. Crimping element 55, on the side facing the tube 56, is provided with a collar 58 for engagement with the shoulders 7 located in the sleeve coupling 15 of the needle.
The device works as follows.
When the patient has to undergo treatment, after the required data have been entered into the control mechanism in a known manner, the carriage is moved to the storage tank 18 and the coupling 10 is connected to the coupling 21 of this tank. The couplings 23 of the extraction tubes 22 are then connected to the required couplings 19. Then the motor 27 of the drive mechanism 7 is actuated so that the transport cable 29 is pulled out of the housing and the grip 49 is at its front end in the forward direction through the tube 9, coupling sleeves 10 and 21, a selected extraction tube 22, a coupling 23 of the extraction tube, a coupling coupling 9 to the storage tank 18. During this forward movement of the cable 29, an automatic connection takes place between the element 49 and the head 51 of the selected tube 56, after which the cable 29 is retracted until the tube 56 does not appear in the intermediate container 6. After all the required tubes 56 have been filled radioactive sources
57, is thus inserted into the intermediate protective container 6, the coupling 10 is disconnected from the coupling 21, the trolley is moved close to the patient, and then the coupling 10 is connected to the patient coupling 11.
The engine 27 is restarted in order to move the cable with a tube containing radioactive sources located at its free end forward through the transport tube placed in the outer tube 9, the coupling 10 of the mechanism of the trolley, the coupling 11 of the patient carrying the patient’s tube 14 placed on the patient’s body, the needle coupling 15 of the needle into the needle 16 for
the introduction of radioactive material located on the patient's chest. When the valve 44 is opened, air is introduced from the high-pressure tank 43 through the tube 42 and the coupling 41 into the patient's transfer tube 14. The air flows along the cable 29 and flows out through the outlet 48. However, as soon as the flange 58 comes into contact with the shoulder 7, the pressure in the tube 42 rises, which is detected by the pressure sensor 45. The pressure sensor 45 communicates through a means (not shown) with the engine 27 and causes the latter to stop when the pressure in the tube 42 rises due to the fit of the shoulder 58 to the shoulder 7. This causes the tube 56 with radioactive sources 7 to be placed in the corresponding place in the needle 16 for the introduction of radioactive materials.
After the patient has been treated, the engine 27 is turned off so that the cable 29 is again wound onto the disk 24 while each tube 56, filled with radioactive material, does not appear in the intermediate container 6 and can be trapped here. After this, the carriage 6 is moved to the storage tank 18, after which the tubes 56, filled with radioactive material, are returned to the storage tank 18 in the same way as described.
By using the proposed device, a fully closed transport system is achieved for a flexible transport cable so that each time it is possible to accurately install a tube filled with radioactive material without the danger of personnel contamination.
